The first six second-generation Globalstar mobile communication satellites have arrived at Russia’s Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan and are being readied for a mid-October launch on a Soyuz rocket, Globalstar and its satellite manufacturer, Thales Alenia Space, announced Sept. 1.
