Large UV/Optical/IR Surveyor (LUVOIR) is one of four concepts for a flagship-class mission currently being studied for potential inclusion in the 2020 astrophysics decadal survey.

A National Academies committee recommends that NASA pursue development of a large space telescope to search for potentially habitable exoplanets, but declined to choose a specific concept for such a mission.
