Blue Canyon Technologies built and operated a three-unit cubesat for Johns Hopkins University's Applied Physics Laboratory as part of a NASA program called Radiometer Assessment using Vertically Aligned Nanotubes (RAVAN). The RAVAN program demonstrated a technique for measuring Earth's outgoing solar radiation.
