Global Eagle receives Nasdaq warning after missing SEC deadline

The poor stock performance of space ventures that went public by merging with a blank check company has left a bad taste in the mouths of investors, said Matt O’Connell, an operating partner at venture capital firm DCVC.

Satellite connectivity provider Global Eagle Entertainment has been given until May 19 to release its 2016 financial results to avoid the risk of being dropped from the Nasdaq stock exchange.
