Lockheed Martin wins $15 million modification for SBIRS contract

SBIRS GEO Flight 3, the next satellite scheduled to join the U.S. Air Force’s Space Based Infrared System (SBIRS), in final assembly and test at Lockheed Martin in Sunnyvale, California.

Lockheed Martin Space Systems won a $15 million contract modification for work on the Air Force’s Space Based Infrared System, or SBIRS, the service announced March 15.
