Airbus’ Bartolomeo platform will host the Launchspace Orbital Debris Collection and Spacecraft Shielding Demonstration Payload for a 12-month period. The payload consists of Debris Impact Pads, which house a series of sensors that record the impact, force and orbital location of debris on the International Space Station.

Launchspace Technologies continues to refine its concept for establishing one constellation of satellites to track objects in orbit and a second to collect debris over the equator.
